Paleo Date & Cinnamon Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried dates, soaked in 1 cup of boiling water (keep water as it is needed for the recipe)
  • 2/3 cup of Coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup of Coconut oil
  • 1 tsp of Baking soda 
  • 2 tablespoons of ground Chia seeds
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180C
  2. Line a flat baking tray with baking paper
  3. Blend down dates, chia seeds, coconut flour, cinnamon, salt & bicarb until dates are finely chopped
  4. Tip into a mixing bowl and quickly add boiling water and coconut oil
  5. Using a fork, combine into a dough
  6. Let mix sit to firm up for 10 minutes
  7. Roll into walnut size balls, place on baking tray, flatten (makes about 25)
  8. Bake for 25 minutes, cool & enjoy.
