 Paleo Mashed Sweet Potatoes with Maple Syrup paleochoice


  • 900g sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 210 Celsius. Line a baking tray with tinfoil.
  2. Clean sweet potatoes and poke each with a fork 4 to 5 times. Bake for 1 hour.
  3. Remove from oven, let cool for about 5 minutes.
  4. Combine coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt and coconut milk in a large bowl. Split the potatoes and scoop the hot insides into the bowl with the mixture. Discard the skins (unless you like to eat them).
  5. Mash well, serve hot and Enjoy!
